The second day of competition in Cremona, Italy, where the 2023 IRHA-IRHBA-NRHA Futurity offering $600.000 added money is being held, continued with the FISE-IRHA Italian Reining Championship Finals.

Green reiners — the family oriented, fun, and educational for all ages of riders — started the day in CremonaFiere. Taking the win in the FISE/IRHA Green Reiner 2 was Maria Niedermayr (Trentino Alto Adige) who rode her own Chic Shelby AV (My Showbiz Whiz x RZ Magnetic Rita) to a 141.5 score. “It’s my first time here in Cremona, and I’m really excited about this result. It’s really a great show! I ride with Simone Schiavo, who I really want to thank, and my horse is a 5-year-old mare who I purchased when she was just 6-months-old. She’s really amazing, I’m super happy and super proud of her!” she said.
The second step of the podium, a half-point behind, went to Carlotta Lambrughi (Lombardy) and her own BH Nero 66 (NRHA Two Million Dollar Sire Inferno 66 x Miss Little Lina).
Following with a 140 score was Bianca Romano (Tuscany) and her Positively Gun 246 (Tinker With Guns x ARC Smart Enterprise).

Winning the FISE/IRHA Novice Horse Non Pro Championship, with a 142 score, was conquered by Francesca Righi (Trentino Alto Adige) aboard Sanger Boy (NRHA Four Million Dollar Sire Walla Walla Whiz x Sanger Chic), owned by Isabella Righi. “I ride with Fabrizio Tugnati who I want to thank, also because this year I didn't really want to compete but he really pushed me! We purchased this horse knowing he was a good one, but at the same time a little difficult. However, I managed to click with him and after having competed the entire regional championship aboard him, we arrived here winning both classes we qualified for,” said Righi. “Yesterday, in the Ladies category, I was a little nervous because I knew I had a good horse and I didn’t want to disappoint. I trusted him a lot, and a little less myself, but he made me understand that results can only be achieved if you believe in both. Today I was a little more tired, but he put that little extra piece of heart in the arena which already took us to the first step of the podium yesterday and this is how I managed to realize a dream I've had for many years.
Second place honors went to Arianna Ranucci (Lazio) and her own Rooster N Hollywood (Rooster Nic x Kelly Little Twist) with a score of 141.5.
Carolina Nardi (Tuscany) took the bronze riding her own AF Double The Snap (Mr Snapple x Sweetly Snapper) to a score of 141.

Simone Schiavo (Trentino Alto Adige) reined RM Spooksgottastar (NRHA Five Million Dollar Sire Spooks Gotta Whiz x Starmax Rm) to a 143.5 score to win the FISE/IRHA Novice Horse Open Championship. “It was an amazing show season for me with this horse who Max and Nadia [Ruggeri] gave me the chance to ride the whole year. Today, once again he showed us how big his heart is! The Italian Championship is a wonderful experience, especially as I had the opportunity to coach some non pros who gave me a lot of satisfaction and great memories.
Luca Piccolo (Campania) and Antonio Piccolo’s Gundunnit N Diamonds (Hollywood Gun Dunnit x Dottoressa) closed with the silver medal around their neck after posting a 142.5 score.
Closing the podium with a 142.5 was Stefano Cerutti (Piedmont) aboard Domenico Giannitti’s GD Spark Olena Whiz (Spark N Whiz x RS Iron Maiden Olena).

Winning the FISE/IRHA Entry Level Youth Championship was Matilde Rabboni (Emilia Romagna), who rode her father’s [Vittorio Rabboni] Customwhizacrome PC (Smoking Whiz x Senorita Custom), to a 143 score. “I'm really happy with today’s score, first of all for the horse and then for our journey together to get to this final. I didn't expect this result and I would like to thank my parents so much for the support and help they gave me,” she said hot on her win.
Second place with a 140.5 score went to Chiara Faccincani (Lombardy) and Energia Electrica PC (Yankee Gun x Electric Rush), owned by Federica Faccincani.
Carlotta Lambrughi (Lombardy) and her own BH Nero 66 (NRHA Two Million Dollar Sire Inferno 66 x Miss Little Lina) took the bronze with a 140.5 score.

Tomorrow the action in Cremona will start with the FISE/IRHA Rookie Level 1 and Level 2 followed by the IRHA/IRHBA/NRHA 3-year-old Non Pro Futurity qualifier presented by DeNiroBootCo. Those not qualified, but eligible for the Consolation, will have a chance to run for a place in the Finals on Monday, November 13.
