Dear Members,

at the beginning of March and with the beginning of the health emergency, Covid-19 IRHA and Elementa, following what was announced in the annual convention a few weeks earlier, published the programming of the national shows with the intent to make an injection of confidence and perspective to the whole movement through important added money. The subsequent developments, the global pandemic and the general critical issues riched, unfortunately, have changed programs and scenarios in every area and in sports competitions in general.

However, with the end of the lockdown and with the new openings for our discipline, also with some limitations, the season is getting ready to start with the beginning of the regional championships and after careful and physiological checks of opportunities ELEMENTA confirms the desire to promote the discipline alongside IRHA, remodeling, for corporate decisions, its sponsorship for the 2020 season with a contribution of 140,000 euros.

IRHA with the confirmation of the partnership, contextually to the enormous difficulties that still exist and that will occur in the future due to Covid-19, has revised a programming of the special events guaranteeing the members and the whole movement however excellent prospects such as an increase of the added money that had been already budgeted thanks to the support of the historical sponsors of the association such as the ARCESE group, QUARTER DREAM and RABBONI as well as all those, owners and buyers, who participated in the stallion auction (IRHA AUCTION):

• September: 8-12 Cremona Fairs
  DERBY IRHA-NRHA Added € 90,000 - For horses up to 8 years!
  FISE Italian team championship € 20,000
  PREFUTURITY Added € 10,000
• October: 6-10 Le Arene Corropoli - (TE)
  MATURITY NRHA IRHA Added € 60,000 (at the Le Arene Equestrian Center in Corropoli)
• November: 21-28 Cremona Fairs
  Futurity NRHA IRHA 3 YRS OLD Added € 300,000
  Euro Futurity NRHA 4 yrs old added € 230,000
  IRHA NRHA Futurity 4 yrs old added € 5,000

The precise wishes of the IRHA board were: to allocate and confirm important added money for the finals of the individual Italian championship and the Italian team championship in order to gratify, always taking in mind the difficult season, the participants in the regional championships, and therefore the professionals and non pros who qualify for the finals through these local competitions. The renew of the ground in the main arena thanks to the support of the sponsor Elementa and the possibility of having a second "show arena" for these classes in a new pavilion of the fair, made possible thanks to the support of the organizer partner TFY srl of Giancarlo Doardo, we hope will allow to organize in the best way and a more suitable and comfortable use of them for riders as well as it will be useful to decongest the main arena reserved for Futurity horses. We hope that such efforts will allow the whole movement to overcome the difficult period by looking to the future with more optimism.
